ResPOND is a low-cost, autonomous product that provides emergency response for rural fish ponds during nighttime hypoxia. 

Unlike traditional methods that rely on labor-intensive night patrols and power-dependent aerators, ResPOND is powered entirely by off-grid solar energy, detects early signs of fish hypoxia through ultra-low-power behavior sensing on and below the water surface, and autonomously releases oxygen tablets—buying farmers critical time and helping prevent overnight fish loss. 

It is especially suited for rural environments where both power and resources are limited, and its scalable design holds potential for broader applications in low-resource aquaculture and other water-based monitoring contexts.
