About the  Project

An ongoing community-based design project in Qingyu Village, Fujian, exploring how local ecological knowledge, everyday coastal livelihoods, and conservation practices can support collective care for horseshoe crabs and intertidal habitats.

Working with local residents and a marine conservation organisation, we are co-developing accessible tools for community patrols, ecological reporting, and visitor nature education through fieldwork, interviews, and situated prototyping.
